JTAC M4A1, Laser Pointer, and M18

Ultimately-fidelity, simulation-ready, low-poly assets of the Colt M4A1 Carbine Caliber 5.56mm, IZLID ULTRA laser pointer, and M18 Colored Smoke Grenade. The assets are prepared and optimised both for first- and third-person usage, in VR or on a normal monitor, for NOR JTAC Training.
------------------------
The M4 Carbine is a 5.56x45mm NATO, gas-operate, magazine-fed carbine developed in the United States during the 1980s. It is a shortened M16A2 rifle with an adjustable stock. The M4 is used extensively by all branches of the United States Armed Forces, and has been adopted by over 60 other countries across the globe. Since its adoption in 1994, the M4 has undergone over 90 modifications to improve ergonomics and modularity, notably the M4A1 shown here, which strengthened the barrel and removed the burst-fire option, and also the SOPMOD (Special Operations Peculiar MODification) kit which provides the user with various standardised attachments to customise the M4A1.
------------------------
The IZLID ULTRA - both attached to the M4A1's Rail Adapter System (RAS) and shown separately - is a top-of-the-line laser pointer for directing CAS (Close Air Support). Its 1 watt near-infrared beam is effective out to 43km.
------------------------
The M18 smoke grenade was developed to improve upon the earlier M16 and was declared standard issue in 1943, yet is such a simplistic and rugged design that it is still in operation today.
